While it is true that the best teacher is still experience having first hand information can cushion the blow for first time customer availing of fleet insurance coverage.
Choosing a fleet insurance company means choosing the best in providing client satisfaction which means assistance of a provider must be available at all times. Problems will be encountered no matter how good the reputation of an insurance company is. The feeling that you are well taken care of is the primary consideration to take. Professionals and employees who are easy to communicate with and don’t beat around the bush when it comes to inquiries. Call centres that are available anytime of the day in case of an emergency or an uneventful situation occurs.
Representatives who know what they are talking about upholding the principles and integrity of the insurance company. By having the insurance company representatives at your disposal and getting you satisfied every step of the way you know you are dealing with a top notch insurance provider. The positive way that a representative deals with you the more confident you get that the insurance company doesn’t take employee training for granted.
Claims and time of response is another consideration to take. A good insurance provider would make the necessary actions in order facilitate the process for an insurance claim in a quick and effective way. Insurance companies who integrate a 24 hour 7 days a week assistance is usually on top of the heap with this comes websites contact numbers and data’s that are readily available for the client in case the need to contact someone arises.
Lastly the need to check the company background is another aspect to take in to consideration. A company who has been in the business for a while and has established a positive reputation gives you the extra confidence to feel more comfortable about your important decision.
Since the recession has hit every part of the world and tore down even the biggest of corporations it doesn’t hurt to still do extensive investigations on prospects for insurance providers. While the tide of the times have significantly changed the way that corporations handle their business it will also be applicable to a person seeking service from a top notch provider for company fleet insurance. Must be a virtual airbus rating because even someone with just their PPL will know that landing speeds aren’t always the same.
The Vref will be different with every weight, it will not ALWAYS be 145 knts. In mid-sized to large aircraft, there will be a chart which helps the pilots decide the landing speed. The speed can vary with the OAT, aerodrome altitude, weights and flap setting. Trust what VAC4042 is telling you, he’s a real pilot and a good friend of mine.
@virtualaircanada2458 haha yeah I bet your getting your cert on the 320, tell me who you’re going to be flying for? Fuckin idiot
jesus dude just fuck off. You never drop stuff do you? Im getting my Certs on the A320. Christ sake.
holy shit bro, you just don’t get it. There’s no such thing as usually. Unless you fly the same flight, same airborne winds, same number of pax, cargo and fuel every single time.
again, USUALLY it’s 145
it varies by about 1 per every 5.5 passengers(almost 1000 pounds), 1000 pounds of fuel, and cargo, so it is quite a bit.
i know but it doesnt very by alot. USUALLY the landing speed for an A320 is at 145 KIAS.
and when I said “big” I mean big enough to have these changes, like for example, in the 172 you’re not going to have a change in your landing or takeoff speed unless you use a different notch of flaps. Yes the true technical class is medium size.
Lol there is no “normal landing speed” Vref changes everytime as I said depending on the weight, outside air tempurature, and altitude of the aerodrome.
A320 and 737 are midsize. Normal landing speed in an A320 is 145 KIAS
same goes for every plane, vspeeds change depending on the weight especially big planes like the A320 and B737
@vac4042 thanks. Dont usually fly it. Im all A320
changes every time. Every 1000 pounds difference you have, whether it be fuel, cargo or passengers, it will change the landing speed (vref) and the takeoff speeds(v1 vr v2)
Nice! what is the approach speed it a
73G? I heard it was 140…I dont fly these much, more airbus…
Well, it depends on your speed. The trick with the 737 and a lot of other aircraft is to not flare too high and not to bring it in too slow or fast. When you flare high, it looses all it’s airspeed and just drops, when you have it too fast, you’ll gain altitude and then drop. I usually flare about 5-10 degrees. 10 being the absoulute MAX!
Yes, I can, the PMDG 744, but a 747 doesn’t fly the routes and times I like to fly…
nice landing:) but cant you do it with a 747 that is far more nicer:) cya
Nice!!! How do you hold it to ease the landing? How much pressure do you give to the yoke??
FS Passengers
sweet landing! What program are you using that reports your flight and simulates a company?
